Do you love inanimate nature, are you fascinated by precious stones and want to learn more about minerals and rocks than just what you were taught in school? Then we cordially invite you to the interpretation in the permanent exhibition World of Minerals.
The curator of the Mineralogical-Petrographic Department of the MZM will take you on a unique journey, where amazing examples of minerals and rocks from Moravia, Silesia and far corners of the world await you.
You will learn how these treasures are created, what their properties are and what their uses are.
Don't miss the opportunity to discover the world that is hidden under our feet.
In addition, this pre-Christmas event will be enriched with an explanation of the short-term exhibition entitled Mineralogical Treasures of the Moravian Karst, in which unique mineralogical and rock samples unique from this area are revealed.
