Mikhail Saakashvili promised the poorest part of the Georgian population for votes in his favor brand new teeth. How could such an exchange between the political spectrum and the general population turn out? Saakashvili lost the election and people who had their bad teeth removed with the sight of beautiful new ones were left with only a toothless smile. With this context, the director of Smiling Georgia, Luka Beradze, moves the audience to 2020, to a village called Nameless. This village was part of the election program in 2012, so most of the population is toothless. With gentle and kind humor, we observe how politics has affected and still affects the everyday life of the most ordinary Georgians. The political dimension of the everyday is reinforced by the upcoming elections that took place in the fall of 2020. While most days these people are stolen from the political elites, as soon as the contest for the electoral base approaches, they arrive with their promises and bizarre plans. But why should these people who have been disappointed so many times trust them?
