Just after Christmas Day, Prague calms down and thanks to this we can enjoy the pre-Christmas atmosphere of the hidden streets of the Old and New Town. Guide to mysterious places, Jan Kroča, will tell us about the line of the winter solstice, which forms the sacred axis of the city, and related to it is the mystical idea of Prague as the New Jerusalem, which was so promoted by Emperor Charles IV. We will also go to places where the people of Prague used to stand in line for Christmas views and where they bought gifts.
And finally, we will stop under the lit Christmas tree on the Old Town Square, where we can have grog or svarak.
The event takes place in any weather. Orientation time is approx. 1.5 hours.
Recommended price: CZK 300 - CZK 500
(half of the proceeds will be donated to rescue stations for animals)
