About event
The premiere in Spain!
The music performance “Suitcase” according to the stories of Sergei Dovlatov.
Leaving the Soviet Union to the United States, the hero takes only a small suitcase. Years later, he opens it and finds things that became a reminder of the past. Each of them comes to life in the story - funny, sad and touching. These are stories about people, events and feelings that once filled his life. Through them, a recognizable and native mosaic of the Soviet era unfolds before us.
The bright sadness of the memories, ironic observations and the subtle metaphors of Dovlatov come to life thanks to the star acting. Alexey Kortnev, Alexei Agranovich, Semyon Treskunov, Valentin Samokhin and Anna Tsagarelli fill the stories with sincerity and warmth. Music, created for the performance, creates an amazing atmosphere where laughter is adjacent to nostalgia, and simple stories turn into eternal topics about love, friendship and search for themselves.
This performance on how to fit all your life in one suitcase and preserve the warmth of memories when you are far from home. And that even in the most difficult times we always have something that makes us stronger-memory, love, hope.
Duration: 2 hours 20 minutes, without an intermission.
