,,PAY GOD FOR THAT LEPROSY."

We remember and pray that they will not return Veronika Gaislova and Karolína Priehradná created the play Bílá Nemoc by Karel Čapek. It is an attempt to confront taboo and outdated themes: the mortality of the individual, the vulnerability of the human body, the mentality of white supremacy, and totalitarian propaganda. It is based on the body a clash with one's own past, but also with the past that is in it. It makes it possible to get out, it forces the body to face it and thus gives a chance for recovery.
