About event
After Klaus Kordon
Berlin in the 1980s: The Spree flows through East and West Berlin and no wall can stop it. Therefore, the twelve -year -old Matze from East Berlin thinks that his bottle mail would have to drive at least to Africa. But Lika from the Wedding in West Berlin fish her out of the Spree and promptly writes Matze back. Matze is very surprised when he receives mail from the part of the city, which is a foreign country for him. The parents do not like the contact between the two children, because west contacts can harm East Berliners and Lika's parents also have many reservations. Whether the two manage to meet despite all the obstacles?
A piece about the real wall (and those in our heads), family stories from East and West and a city in which the traces of German-German division can still be discovered. Weinhold
Bühne/Equipment: Halina Kratochwil
Kostüm: Anke Lenz
Music: Paul Kuchenbuch, Giovanni Reber
Theater pedagogy: Sofie Hüsler
Director: Elisa Ludwig
This staging is funded by the Federal Foundation for the Reference of the SED dictation Heinz and Heide Dürr Foundation
