Přepište Svícen!

The Pod Svícnem Initiative invites you to a unique discussion with the authors of the Rewrite the History podcast, this time on the topic of domestic violence in the context of our history. How did our ancestors treat domestic violence? How has its perception changed over the centuries - from silence and taboo to the current effort to name and solve it? Together we will think about how much our current approaches are influenced by historical customs and culture, and whether we are really able to learn from history. The discussion will offer not only historical context, but also an insight into why it is important to talk openly about domestic violence and how to work with it as a society.
