About event
In the book “Present Past,” ten people report how they researched National Socialism in their own families, what they found out and how they deal with the findings. In doing so, they provide insight into the personal memory practices of a growing minority in German society.
Claudia Krieg and Johannes Spohr will present the concerns and contents of the volume on December 16, 2025, and invited authors such as the historian and journalist Friedrich Burschel will introduce their research based on their contributions. The evening will be moderated by Franziska Göpner (Anne Frank Center).
A cooperation between the Present Past research service and the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg Museum, supported by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation.
