Come for an evening that will draw you into the world of great challenges - Róbert will guide you 4,000 km along the Pacific Ridge and Michal will show you where 20 years of traveling around the world have taken him. And at the end, you will experience an engaging film about a brave attempt to step on a Nepalese six-thousand-thousand-thousand-meter road on a bicycle. Inspiration, adrenaline and the desire to go - all in one evening.

Since I was a child, I had a dream to visit the USA. I wanted to see the country live and not just through TV or the Internet. Since I had traveled a few long-distance routes in the past, I knew that this was my way of getting to know America as well. The choice was clear for me - I will walk the Pacific ridge. It was the biggest adventure of my life so far. 4200 km of crossing mountains, forests, deserts and snow. 5 months of seemingly simple life, dangerous snow crossings, river fords, but also high temperatures and lack of water. There were also encounters with bears, rattlesnakes as well as nocturnal animal visits. But despite the difficult moments, it was a great time full of experiences, getting to know America, but also myself.

In the last 20 years, he has traveled four continents, fulfilled his dreams in places like Patagonia, Japan and Papua New Guinea and met hundreds of wonderful people. Thanks to his travels, he writes travel books and founded the Cestou necesto festival. In this lecture, he will show you that everyone can travel - you don't need to be a millionaire, just the desire to experience something new. Bikers Tomáš Zejda and Ondřej Novák embark on an extreme expedition with the aim of conquering Nepal's Mera Peak (6461 m a.s.l.) – the highest place that anyone has ever reached by bicycle. The adrenaline-fueled descent that would make them enter the Guinness Book of Records is starting to take shape. The carousel of preparations spins and the warning voices of the neighborhood keep getting stronger. However, their determination is enormous and they are used to overcoming obstacles and their own limits. Or at least they think so...
