Enjoy eight Malo Carpathian wineries in eight Prešov businesses. Taste great Slovak wines and get to know the Prešov wine cellars with a long, glorious history. All this will be offered by the 4th year of the Prešov wine cellar event on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
PARTICIPATING WINERIES
For the fourth time, wine lovers will fill the center of Prešov on the first Saturday of February. In the 2026 vintage, when choosing wineries, we focused mainly on the wine village of Vinosady (between Pezinko and Modra), we supplemented them with one winery from Šenkvíce. All of them have their headquarters and production center in the Malokarpatska wine region.

PARTICIPATED ENTERPRISES
All enterprises that will host wineries are located in the center of Prešov within easy reach of public transport. Their map is part of the Wine Passport, which is a ticket to the event. All businesses will be prominently marked with a sign on the street in front of the entrance. The premises of each business that will host winemakers are historically related to the wine trade, which was one of the main commercial commodities in the history of Prešov. The main boom in the wine trade in Prešov dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries. From this period, an extensive cellar system remained in Prešov, which also served as storage space for wine. Several historical cellars will also host the customers of the event, or will be open for viewing during the event.

TICKET – WINE PASSPORT
The price of the Wine Passport – ticket for one person is 25, resp. 30 euros. The sale is in bulk only for people aged 18 and over. The wine pass entitles its holder to participate in the Prešovské vínne pivnice event on Saturday 7 February 2026 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and to use services related to the event. Without it, it is not possible to claim the services associated with the event.
The wine passport in discounted pre-sale (€25, exclusively in participating establishments, until
31. 12. 2025) includes: tasting bag, tasting glass with the logo of the event, tokens for the purchase of wine with a total value of 12.5 euros (5x yellow token with a value of 0.5 euros, 2x red token worth 5 euros), a coupon for the purchase of food worth 4 euros, accompanying information material with a map and instructions.
Wine passport in advance (€30, online and in stores, 1/1/2026 – 31/1/2026) includes: tasting bag, tasting glass with event logo, tokens for purchasing wine in total value 12.5 euros (5x yellow tokens worth 0.5 euros, 2x red tokens worth 5 euros), food purchase coupon worth 4 euros, accompanying information material with a map and instructions.
Wine passport on sale (€30, online and in stores, 1/2/2026 - 7/2/2026) includes: tasting bag, tasting glass with the logo of the event, tokens for the purchase of wine with a total value of 7.5 euros (5x yellow tokens with a value of 0.5 euros, 1x red token with a value of 5 euros), a coupon for the purchase of food with a value of 4 euros, accompanying information material with a map and instructions. 1. 12. 2025 until 7. 2. 2026.
The sale is via the internet through the predpredaj.sk portal. It is possible to buy a ticket here from 1/1/2026 to 2/6/2026. The owner of a ticket bought through the portal can pick it up physically in Vieche under the vaults based on the code. Basic doses are 0.03l (tasting) and 0.1l (pouring). Tokens are part of the wine passport, or will be available for purchase in cash at any establishment upon presentation of a wine passport. The price of a yellow token upon purchase is 0.5 euros, a red one 5 euros.
The purchase of whole bottles is also only possible with tokens after presenting a wine passport.
Price lists of wines in the number of tokens are exclusively the competence of the wineries. wine passports one free tasting portion of each offered wine.
RAFFLE
Each ticket has a raffle number.
Ticket holders who taste at least one sample from each winemaker and will have 8 different stamps in their wine passport will be included in the raffle draw.
The back part of the wine passport with the number and stamps can be left in the drawing for on the day of the event in any establishment after obtaining 8 stamps, or bring to Viechy pod klenbami no later than 10/02/2026 inclusive.
The raffle will be drawn by the organizer on 12/02/2026 and the winning numbers will be published on Viechy pod klenbami's FB profile.
The winnings can be picked up in Viechy pod klenbami until 21. 2. 2026 inclusive.
IMPORTATION OF PURCHASED WINE
Visitors of PVP 2026 have the opportunity to keep purchased bottles of wine with the wine passport number, name, address and telephone contact in any participating establishment. It applies that on the first purchased bottle they write a large sticker (received from the winemaker) with contact information, for the next purchased bottles only a small sticker (received from the winemaker) with the passport number. to the specified address, the purchase is at least 6 bottles (1 carton).
The organizer will deliver the wine to interested parties at the specified addresses within the districts of Prešov and Košice-mesto at their own expense. Delivery will take place on February 8-10, 2026 by prior arrangement. Other clients can pick up the purchased wines in Viech pod klenbami during opening hours until February 11, 2026 inclusive.
PRACTICAL NOTES AND INFORMATION ON TASTING
During the event, winemakers pour exclusively into branded tasting glasses, which are part of the wine passport and ticket. Each tasting person must have his own wine passport and goblet.
If the tasting goblet is broken, it is possible to buy a replacement goblet in Vieche under the vaults. The price of a replacement goblet is 3 euros, and the wine passport and broken original goblet must be presented at the time of purchase.
The order of visiting and tasting individual wineries and businesses is arbitrary.
Toilets for holders of wine passports are available in all participating establishments.
Drinking water and water for rinsing glasses are available in the establishments. The standard offer of other drinks and meals is not part of the wine passport.
For serious operational reasons, the organizers reserve the right to change the participating wineries and their number.
Photographic and video materials will be produced at the event, which are intended exclusively for the promotional needs of the organizer.
