Bratislava - in the 18th century known as Prešporok (Presourg) - was an important cultural and music center of the Habsburg monarchy in the second half of this century. As a coronation city, the headquarters of the Archbishop of Esztergom and the important social node played an important role in the formation of the musical life of the monarchy, especially during the top classicism. The program will feature several important personalities of Classicism, such as: double bassist and composer Johann Matthias SPERGER, who also worked in Slovakia, Joseph Haydn, representative of the top classicism of European format, as well as Anton Zimmermann, court bandleader Batthyán orchestra and one of the most important musicians. Prešporka. The song was created for Jozef Kämpfer - a versatile musician, who worked as a violonist, gambist and violonist in the Batthyan orchestra.
