Lecture: Specification By Example: brief, precise and understandable requirements

The traditional way of development says: program it first, test it later. But this leads to frustration of the testers towards the end of the development (sprint) because they are overloaded. Specification By Example offers a different approach, in which the whole team first works together to define the solution in the form of examples, and only then (everyone at once) gets down to work. So it allows testers to start working on (automated) tests from day one. If you write the examples in the domain language, customers or stakeholders can also collaborate on them, increasing their trust in the development team. As a side effect, you get automatically generated documentation that is always up to date.

[Robert](https://batusek.cz) is a software development consultant with more than twenty years of experience in the field, a LeSS trainer (the only one in the Czech Republic) and a programmer.
He has held many positions in companies, from developer to architect, project manager, team leader, manager to Scrum Master and agile coach. In several companies, he had the opportunity to implement and improve agile product development on a large scale (30 or more teams).
In particular, it helps companies to simplify product development in multiple teams so that it can quickly adapt to changing business priorities without losing the company's ability to grow.
As a programmer, he is a promoter of Test-Driven Development, knowing full well that this technique significantly reduces the amount of errors in production.
Quote: "If 20 years of experience has taught me anything, it's that all aspects of software development, from the technical quality of the code to the organizational structure, must be in balance for a company to function well."

The event will take place in Vlněn on the premises of the Legito company.
Legito can be found on the 5th floor at Přízova 537/1, Vlněna Office Park. The entrance to the building is from the inside of the premises. A simple map in the attachment should help. The best way to get to Legita is by tram (No. 8, 9, 12). Unfortunately, parking is not possible, we recommend leaving the car in the nearby shopping center Vaňkovka. After entering the building, either the receptionist will guide you or we will have our person on site to show you the way.
