About event
The presentation and discussion will present the three laureates of the Oskar Čepan Prize 2025 – Nikola Balberčáková, Ráchel Jutka and Ľuboš Kotlár, who were selected by an international jury based on their mature authorial language and the themes they work on in their projects through various media. The laureates will present their artistic practice and tell the audience, among other things, what direction their project will take, which they will present at the December exhibition of the Oskar Čepan Prize 2025 in the Ján Koniark Gallery in Trnava under the supervision of Miroslava Urbanová, director of the Foundation - Center for Contemporary Art. Artists and artists will reveal something about their inspirations, creative processes and personal views on the role of art in today's world. The presentation and discussion will thus offer a unique space for an insight into the best of the current Slovak art scene. The event is a side event of the Film Festival of Otherness 2025.

You can get to the community center by tram, trolleybus, bus, car or on foot. In its immediate vicinity are the stops Americké námestie (lines 3, 4 and 47) and Blumentál (lines 3, 9, 31 and 39). The STU (lines 1 and 4) and Špitálska (line 42) stops are approximately a 10-minute walk away.
You can park in available free spaces directly in front of the community center or on Krížna and Záhradnícka streets nearby. The community center does not have reserved parking spaces.
