We invite you to the presentation of Lostlingual, a book of poems by Dinara Rasuleva, moderated by editor-in-chief Evgeny Ostashevsky. This is the first volume in the sdvig series from Rab-Rab Press, dedicated to the translinguistic avant-garde. In this collection, Dinara Rasuleva returns to Tatar, the language of her childhood, in which she had never written before. Exploring mother tongue loss and reappropriation through experimental translingual poetry.
Dinara sets herself the task of writing poetry in Tatar as she remembers it, without looking in a dictionary. The result is a fragile and liberating collection of multilingual poetry, where Tatar, English, German and Russian intersect and are mutually transformed.
