Презентация книги Дмитрия Драгилёва «Некоронованные»

The main character of the novel by Dmitry Dragilev, a newspaperman and Russian Berliner, is obsessed with mysterious calendars that replace each other - it is to them that he attributes the severe contradictions of time. Throughout the story, the hero constantly finds himself drawn into disputes with friends: their images form a bright gallery, where they are side by side with portraits of historical characters. The narrator himself is tormented by philosophical questions, unrequited feelings and complex relationships with the past and present, as well as with the old and new society, consisting of different waves of Russian emigration. His ironic but sensual language, rich in metaphors, details and poetic figures, strives to convey both the absurdity and tragedy of the experience of people abandoned by history into an alien space.

Dmitry Dragilev is a poet, prose writer, pianist, director of musical ensembles Kapelle Strock and others. Author of the poetry collections “All Signs of Love” (2008), “Corrected to Believe” (2024), books of essays “Thor-Share” (2018), biography of jazz composer and musician Eddie Rosner.
