Prezidentka + debata Deníku N

🎥 During her mandate, five governments and five prime ministers took turns in power. The country faced the coronavirus pandemic and the energy crisis, and the dictator Putin unleashed a fierce war beyond its borders. During five turbulent years, Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová dealt with global dilemmas as well as personal dramas. Moreover, in a divided society, she resisted the enormous wave of hatred that was fueled by Slovak politicians. Filmmaker Marek Šulík stood behind her during her tenure and private moments. During filming, Zuzana Čaputová confided in him personal information that was not allowed to be made public. They agreed that the time-lapse documentary would only be published when she was no longer president. Come and see an intimate film portrait of a woman who strove for humanity and empathy in politics.

🎤 After the screening, there will be a Debate for Denik N. Editor-in-chief Pavel Tomášek will talk with the director of the film, Marko Šulík.
