Theater journey of the book Machzor from Terezín to London. The authorial processing of the almost 100 -year history of the Strachova family of Brno, which grows up from the story of the book Machzor seized in Terezín, sleeping and rediscovered and returned to the family. The silent narrative of the book about the fate of their owners, which by its historical, involuntary and tragic simplicity deafen the world.
The story of the book, the story of the family, the story of Europe. The book Machzor was returned to the family of the original owners after 82 years. This book was part of the collection of 12,000 liturgical books confiscated by Jews in concentration camps in the Czech Republic. Within the project "Library of Lost Hope", the Jewish community of Brno tries not only to archive the books, but above all to restore the descendants of the original owners.
