🟡06. 07. | Botticelli - The Birth of Venus
🖌️Do you know the story of the birth of Venus? Can you imagine the Renaissance ideal of beauty? How are overseas discoveries related to the most beautiful Florentine woman of the 15th century? Hear the story of an extraordinary work and come and sail with us for a while in the magical waters of art. You will get to know the story of the iconic work and at the same time paint it using the traditional technique of underpainting on glass.
🟡20. 07. | Alfons Mucha – Femme fatale
🖌️Ethereal women, floral ornaments and unmistakable Art Nouveau poetics. We see them in calendars, cups and textiles. The unique style of Alfonso Mucha, the most important Czech Art Nouveau painter of world stature, has been enchanting for more than a hundred years. You will learn Much's story, how he became a versatile and recognized artist and a Czech national treasure from a theater decorator. While listening, you will create your own "femme fatale" using the glass painting technique.
🟡03. 08. | Vermeer - Girl with a pearl earring
🖌️Electrifying look, blue turban, pearl. A young girl, no mythological creature or saint. Who is hiding behind the beautiful fresh face? You will listen to and discover the stories of the golden age of Dutch painting and get a glimpse into the world of Vermeer, Rembrandt and Rubens. You can transfer their atmosphere to your own work on glass.
🟡17. 8. | Warhol and “67” – Icons of the modern age
🖌️Marilyn, Campbell's soup, Mao. What about "67"? Transport yourself to the world of pop art and icons of the 20th century. You will get to know the story of Andy Warhol - an artist with Slovak roots - and create your own pop-art painting on glass - Marilyn or Campbell's soup. We will connect legends with the present and open space for the visual language of today's generation.
