About event
🎷 One Day Jazz Festival comes with a special added concert!
Due to the huge interest in the performance of Dan Bárta & Illustratosphere, which will take place on December 1 in the Great Hall of Slovak Radio, the organizers decided to add another concert. It will take place on December 2 in the newly opened club Neptune (former Aterlér Babylon).
Dana Bárta and Illustratosphere are returning to Bratislava, where they will play concerts as part of the Silver Wedding tour. As part of the tour, the standard line-up of the Illustratosphere group will be specially expanded by the duo Lash & Gray with the singer Kristína Mihaľová, a rising star on the domestic and Slovak music scene.
Dan Bárta, eleven-time winner of the Anděl Award in the categories Singer of the Year and Singer of the Quarter, became widely known in the nineties with the band Alice and his performance in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. He also became an integral part of the band J.A.R.
In 2000, he founded his own group, Illustratosphere, with which he also performs with the internationally recognized Slovak drummer Martin Valihor. An unmistakable voice with excellent singing technique, first-class musicians and songs soaring high above the standard of popular music. Dan Bárta & Illustratosphere have been enchanting listeners regardless of age and musical genre for over twenty years.
Dan Bárta & Illustratosphere:
Dan Bárta - vocals
Filip Jelínek - keyboards
Robert Balzar - double bass, bass guitar
Martin Valihora - drums
Miroslav Chyška - guitars
