Pride Trnava - 27 September 2025
We are forced to hide. Conceal our identities. In public space, in various formal situations, in various institutions - registers, health care, banks .. - even with those who should "help us and protect" us. We cannot tell the truth about our lives because we are afraid and we do not know what person sits against us. We are afraid that if we admit our identity, we will face stereotyping, oppression, mockery, bullying, browsing, or even violence (verbal or physical).
This week, the NRSR will discuss whether our constitution will only recognize 2 genders. This is one of the big, but not the only steps as the elites and people in power to control our bodies without our consent and erase a kvira lives from public space. But not just from it, also from history. Although identities outside the binary frame have always been here - and they will be!
In addition to the fact that, as a person, we face oppression every day, not only at the social level, but also at the institutional, we are also facing him in other areas. In our context, we also face him as: physically or mentally disadvantaged people in the form of ableism.

In other contexts, the kvir (but also the non -chirrium) people face occupation, colonization, cold -blooded slaughter and genocide. They are described as terrorists, an uncivilized nation and similarly misleading and poor addresses.
One Pride does not change much. But if we unite, we will create communities based on friendship, trust, common understanding and effort to change the world for the better, we have at least hope.
