We will end this year's Prieniky talkshow series in a special way - the invitation was accepted by two rare ladies: screenwriter and writer Hana Lasicová and linguist Lucia Molnár Satinská. They have been friends for many years and although the connections may seem obvious, we ourselves are curious about what new #penetrations we will discover together. As usual, Erich Vladár (piano) will delight us with music, but this time he will tailor it for the guests together with Jozef Brindzák (double bass) and Veronika Staňková (violin). How? Let yourself be surprised!
✨ Peneriky ✨ is a fun talk show that creates space for getting to know each other and getting closer. The invited guests are exceptional people from the fields of culture, science, education, business, sports and other spheres of our life. They informally share with the audience their personal stories and experiences that led them to independence, creativity and responsibility. Who are our November guests?
🎞️ Hana Lasicová studied economics at the University of Economics in Vienna and comparative literature at the Sorbonne University in Paris. She lived in Vienna, Warsaw, Manchester and Paris, but she feels best in her native Bratislava. You know her as a screenwriter and writer.
👅 Lucia Molnár Satinská studied comparative studies, English-American studies and Slovak studies at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. She studied Hungarianology at the Bálint Balassi Institute in Budapest and today works as a Slovak linguist, translator and employee of the Ľudovíta Štúr Institute of Linguistics. Her research topics include multilingualism in Slovakia, language landscape, language policy and gender-sensitive language. She is also dedicated to the popularization of linguistics, Slovak and Hungarian and other minority languages in Slovakia and is the co-author of Pressburg, the first multilingual television series from Slovakia.
Both have been present on the professional music scene for a long time and are active in various musical projects. They met Erich Vladár a few years ago in The Fascination band, where they connect several musical traditions from traditional jazz to well-known older evergreens to folk music.
🎤 Ivan Ježík is the co-author and moderator of Prienikov and the podcast Interviews Choices. He returned to his native Trenčín with the Voices team, where he has been preparing various cultural and educational activities for several years. He cares about a good life here and that young people want to come back here.
