About event
The new wave invites you to open the exhibition of the Voice by Juraj Toman.
Juraj Toman was born in 1985 in Trenčín. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (Klaudia Kosziba Studio) and the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica, where he won the title ArtD (Dr. Art Dr.). Nitra. The methods I develop have the character of an absurdly directed game. By constantly laying and overlapping the illusive world of painting, I create a complicated spatial fiction to test the viewer's attention. Every picture - and does not matter whether it is digital, analog or mental - it stimulates imagination while erasing its edges, because the abstract mind has no edges. I proceed by looking at the picture that I am going to paint for a long time and imagine which part of the studio I put in it and which part of the original painting remains - to function as an image in the picture. These image surfaces are naturally complemented. Sometimes it is visible immediately, sometimes the viewer needs more time to realize that there is another picture in the picture.
