- how childbirth takes place, what happens to your body
- childbirth as a hormonally controlled process
- how to support the release of hormones responsible for the progress of childbirth

- preparation of soft tissues during pregnancy - how to support birth so that it goes easier and faster

- beginning of labor and the passive (latent) phase
