Procházka Ďáblickým hřbitovem

The Ďáblický cemetery, located on the border of the Prague districts of Ďáblice and Střížkov, is the second largest cemetery in Prague and at the same time a unique world - the only cubist cemetery in the world. It is also an important place of memory of Czech history: in its northern part there is an honorary burial ground referring to the second and third (anti -communist) resistance. At the northern wall they are buried in mass shaft graves of victims of Nazi and communist terror. In 2015, the forest of memories, the first natural burial ground in the Czech Republic was opened in the cemetery, where the ashes of the deceased are stored for memorial trees. In 2023, a meadow cemetery was added, the first ecological cemetery in the Czech Republic, where they are buried in ecological coffins on a flower meadow without traditional tombstones.
