We cordially invite you to explore the House of the Lords of Kunštát, which will be part of the Brno Art Week 2025 festival program. 4. 2025, 15: 00–16: 00
Archaeologists on the site of today's building of the House of the Lords of Kunštát even found the foundations of Gothic brick fragments from the 2nd half of the 13th century. However, today's Renaissance appearance of the building can be sought a century later, at a time when the building was owned by the Kunštát family, where it also bears its name.
How is the gallery of modern and contemporary art in one of the two preserved Renaissance monuments in the historical center of Brno? How is it possible that today we have the archive of Woody Vašulka, the world's electronic art pioneer in this building? And what other valuable works - except the exhibited - building and courtyard hiding? We will not only try to clarify these questions during the walk.
The program will take place both in outdoor and interior and is intended for the general public.
