About event
🟣🟣 Walk: In the footsteps of elephants in the Old Town of Prague
with Kristýna Paková 🟣🟣
come with me in the footsteps of the elephants in the Old Town of Prague. You will learn when the Prague citizens had the first time to meet the living elephant, and on what occasion it was even on the Old Town Square. And not just that. I will also show you two historical houses that have an elephant still in the emblem. I will tell you what occasion the elephant got, or actually came to the Old Town Square, where he became part of the festivities on the occasion of engagement of the eldest daughter of the ruler of that time. And what do you learn about during the walk? And which ruler belonged?
🟣 The first elephant in Prague. And the very first Prague fireworks. The Etna volcano model, which was based on sparks and smoke. This also experienced the Old Town Square at that time. Whose engagement so did the emperor celebrate? Whose wife should have become his eldest daughter Anna? I will tell you about some of them. And the ruler that the empire was the grandmother who had the elephant brought from the far India? And where would we find them? And which significant astronomer, astrologer and alchemist, who is buried in the Tyn Temple on the Old Town Square, has been awarded this order? And who has so far been the only Czech who has been lent to this order?
You will learn it all! Let us start our imagination and wake up with it until people did not spend time on social networks, or online, but in the physical reality in which they were able to create things! And celebrate!
