About event
Do you only know the New World from stories or books and would like to get to know it in person? Do you go for walks here and would you like to know what places you usually pass? Get to know the New World with the guide's commentary. .cz/akce/prochazka-seznamte-se-novy-svet
During the walk you will briefly get to know its development and interesting things that are connected to its in its current form.
What will you learn and what will I show you?
1. When was the New World created? And who originally lived here?
2. Where does the Brusnice stream flow here? And where did it flow in the past?
3. Why does the U Raka hotel get its name? And which famous writer lived here in the second half of the 20th century?
4. Why does some of the houses have the word "golden" in their name?
5. Which famous filmmakers, writers, visual artists or musicians lived here in the 20th century? Well, at least some of them.
6. Where did the astronomer Tycho Brahe, who was invited to Prague by Emperor Rudolf II, stay here?
7. And which house did Jan Blažej Santini-Aichl build or rebuild here for his brother?
Of course, I will tell you not only that, but also something else. Come for a walk, learn something and experience something!
The event does not include a visit to the objects with an entrance fee.
