We cordially invite you to a private discussion with Professor Anna Hogenová in Prague, at the House U Zlaté lilie.
Prof. PhDr. Anna Hogenová, Czech philosopher and phenomenologist. After graduating from the grammar school in Žatec, where she was also taught by Zdeněk Svěrák, she continued her studies at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of the Charles University (FTVS UK) and the Faculty of Arts at the Charles University. Today she lectures at the Faculty of Education of the Charles University, where she heads the Department of Philosophy and Ethics, and at the Hussite Faculty of Theology, where she heads the Department of Philosophy.
Her professional focus includes topics such as movement, truth in the sense of unconcealment (aletheia). , body and physicality as well as the philosophy of sport. In 1992, she received the title of associate professor in the field of kinanthropology, and in 2006 she was appointed professor at the Palacký University in Olomouc. During her career, she lectured not only at FTVS UK, but also at the Technical University in Liberec.
Anna Hogenová is the author of more than thirty monographs and university textbooks, a number of articles and videos available online. She actively participates in many international conferences and is a member of the editorial boards of various professional periodicals. She was born on October 23, 1946 in Fláj and is the mother of three children. . She is known for her constant smile and positive energy.
