Talks & discussions
About event
We have prepared a discussion for you with the most famous neurosurgeon in the Czech Republic, prof. MD Vladimír Beneš, who has already performed over eight thousand operations and is one of the best in the world in his field.
About life, death, hope and the miracles of modern medicine. What do we know about the brain? And what about him we will never know? Why is the brain the only organ that does not hurt? Can we prevent serious diseases such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, stroke or brain tumors? Should seriously ill people be given the hard truth or a merciful lie? And should a person be given the opportunity to decide for himself that he no longer wants to live? (author: Martin Moravec)
As part of the discussion, it will be possible to purchase all signed books by the author Martin Moravec:
Marek Dvořák: Mezi nebem a pacientem
Josef Mareš: My cases from 1. department
Vladimír Beneš: My journey into the depths of the brain
David Hecl: The captain is speaking to you
Adam Dolník: The World of the Elite Negotiator
