⚔️ On the route of warriors and templar mysteries
The Templars, warriors who protected the pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem and kept the legendary temple of Solomon, left in Portugal one of their greatest legacies: The Castle and Convent of Christ, in Tomar. From its impressive charola, inspired by the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, to the transition of the Templars to the Order of Christ, protected by D. Dinis after his brutal extermination in 1307.
The trip continues to Almouol, a magic castle erected on an island in the middle of the Tagus, whose origin is lost in time. It is said that there Gualdim Parents, Master Templar, had his nine circular towers built. But what is the true purpose of this fortification? Come with us in this search for the puzzles of the Templars!
