The former regional prison in Brno on Cejl is an exceptional building with a history dating back to the end of the 18th century. Gradually, the building originally situated beyond the city walls found in the middle of the city, and few people today have no idea that during the 20th century there were executed political opponents of Nazism and communism. It will reveal the stories of prisoners and supervisors, it will be possible to learn about everyday life behind the walls of prisons and will bring an understanding of the broader context of political and social development that has been reflected here.
