Prohlídka Židovského muzea

Commented tour of the objects of the Prague Jewish Museum with a certified guide.

Participants will first visit the Maisel Synagogue, where they will remember, among other things, the personality of the famous Rabbi Löw and clarify the earliest history of Jewish settlement in CR. They will then tour the Pinkas Synagogue, in which there is a memorial to victims of the Holocaust. This is followed by a walk through the Old Jewish Cemetery. There, event participants will learn about Jewish burial customs. Then their steps will lead to the oldest and still used synagogue, which has a rather strange name: Staronová. We will not only talk about its history, but also about how religious services are conducted and which traditional holidays the Jewish community celebrates. At the end, participants will see the exhibition dedicated to the history of the 19th and 20th centuries, which is located in the interior of the Spanish Synagogue.

• The price of the tour does not include the entrance fee to the museum. This will be purchased by each participant on the spot and costs 500 CZK for adults / 370 CZK for students under 26 and children 6-15 years old. The museum does not provide any discounts for seniors. If you are the owner of Lítáčka, you get a 50% discount on the entrance fee.
• The tour is intended for adults, it is not suitable for children due to its length and extensive and professional information.
• The organizer reserves the right to cancel tour in case of little interest. In this case, the entrance fee will of course be refunded.
• Due to the limited space in the objects, the tour is designed for a group of 14 people.
• Filming or recording of the guide during the explanation is not allowed.
