The five -day intensive course is intended only for the graduates of Meisner technology (summer or year -round version). We will focus on deepening the key tools of Meisner techniques - especially repetitive exercises, independent activities, room entry, emotional preparation and relationship dynamics.
What specifically awaits you in five days:
Improvement of repetitive skills
Repetition is the cornerstone of Meisner's technology. In this course we will go on for mere "observation" - we will learn to react faster, more truthfully and with greater emotional availability. openness.
2. Independent activity
We will consolidate the ability to be fully focused on a task that makes sense and importance for actors - and at the same time be open to the external impulse (eg a partner input). to “show off”.
3. Entering the room (Door Work)
Exercise that emphasizes the clear goal, need and relationship dynamics before entering the space. Emotional preparation
Technique that helps the actor to open a specific emotional state before the start of the scene without playing or pretending.
We will learn to create personal and meaningful triggers. power.
5. Building and developing a relationship
The acting relationship is not given by the text, but a reaction in the present moment. In this block we will focus on building real contact. Structured rhythm:
→ morning warm -up and tuning
→ main blocks of exercise with partners rotation
→ group reflection and sharing experiences
On the fifth day we close scenic improvisations or work in pairs where all elements integrate at one acting moment. Application:
