👋 We invite you to the screening of short ecological films as part of the accompanying program of the exhibition 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘪. Discover films by young female filmmakers who ask burning questions about the climate and what the world will look like tomorrow. 🌱🐝🌍
⚡ how much plastic can we really recycle? How deep is the fear of the future and starting a family? 𝙟𝙖𝙞𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙤 🔥
Ida is nine months pregnant, and on this day water consumption for the household is limited due to the drought. She hides from the world behind closed blinds, but fear eats away at her from the inside. There is hot air outside the window and Ida has to face not only her fears, but also the future.

A documentary from the plastic age, which, using the example of the city of Zlín, shows what in practice, it means living and processing plastic waste and what consequences it brings not only for local citizens. The film depicts the situation with difficult-to-recycle waste. The documentary is performed by female employees of the local municipality and employees of the city's Technical Services, whom the director interviews and captures directly at work. The technical, economic and political aspects of the global problem with plastic recycling are brought closer to the local context of the East Moravian municipality.

Dystopian science fiction is an insight into a world where the consequences of climate change are fully manifested. What is the position of the individual/couple in the fight against the climate threat and for climate justice? The film uses the aesthetics of "B" feature films, own music production and is inspired by the local struggles of the climate movement across Europe.
The film was created in cooperation with the organization People in Need as part of the project "1Planet4All – Empowering youth, living EU values, tackling climate change".
