UN: Masking: Facing Time Stories
Projection: 4. 9. 2025, 19:00 (ETC. Gallery, Sarajevska 16, Prague 2) The future of communities, which in their bodies and everyday life bear traces of pressure of Western dominance. Yet they retain their own culture, stories and metaphysical framework that are beyond the hegemonic logic of the West. These other worlds that seek to capture the curator's band can act from the perspective of white modernity as fiction, allegory or alternative reality. However, they represent very real forms of existence that intertwine with the legacy of ancestors and the visions of the future. The time and relationships with human and non-human bodies and landscape are not as linear and unambiguous in these narratives as in the European cultural tradition.
