About event
Happiness Agent
Original version: Bhutan
subtitles: Czech
What does it mean to measure happiness? In Bhutan, agents conduct survey and interviews with people from door to door to help measure the gross national happiness of the country, but these agents must also look for their personal happiness. Together with his partner, he conducts a survey among them, asking more than a hundred questions in nine categories. Director Dorottya Zurbó shows the vast beauty of the Bhutan landscape along with the daily reality of different inhabitants of Bhutan. Meanwhile, Amber embarks on his personal journey to happiness, specifically through the search for a marriage in a little free time she has in juggling with work and care for her mother. We leave the difficulty of distilling happiness to one comprehensive form to the viewers for reflection.
