Young women from Socialist Hungary are looking for their happiness and chance of contact with foreign consumption through acquaintance with the Italian man. How will this idyll turn out? The film consists mainly of interviews led in Hungary with young women who met with holidaymakers. We will hear the various gossip that girls spread about each other, but we will also learn about the ideals and hopes that these men represented for them, or the fate of friends to Italy married. However, the luxury of foreign luxury, known only from magazines or imported popular culture, did not have to be an accurate image of reality awaiting young ladies.
