About event
The stories of those who experienced war slowly disappear from our lives.
Only a few have grandparents who could tell him about the war today. Therefore, the documentary film Memory of War brings a meeting with a generation that is no longer here, but whose testimony is becoming increasingly topical. Where did the resistance fighters, guerrillas and World War II pilots find the courage? How did they face their fears? What was important to them? The voices of the witnesses of the greatest conflict in modern history come to life in the presence in which the war is changing the whole world again. The documentary film is screened as part of the 80s. The anniversary of the end of World War II.
Documentary film will be screened 20.5. From 17:00 in the Great Hall of the Jiří Mahen Library in Brno.
The projection of the document will be followed by a lecture and debate with Tomáš Řepa:
He focuses primarily on contemporary history, regularly lectures, lectures and popularizes the themes associated with the history, conflicts of the past and present (especially the war in Ukraine), security topics and misinformation.
