About event
During this themed day, children will get to know English words in which some letters cannot be read - the so-called silent letters. The goal is for students to improve their pronunciation in a playful way, understand rules and exceptions, and gain more confidence in using English.
What will we do?
Playful activities to recognize silent letters in common words (e.g. knight, island, comb, write, half...).
Pronunciation exercises where children learn to pronounce words correctly without unnecessary ones. vowels.
The aim is for children to gain more self-confidence in pronunciation, notice the interesting aspects of the English language and have fun at the same time.
Inspiration for this lesson:
Open to everyone who is interested and eager to improve their pronunciation.
