About event
GAGA is a movement language developed over the years by OHAD NAHARIN from Israel, parallel to his work as a choreographer and artistic director of BATSHEVA DANCE COMPANY. Gaga's language is based on a belief in healing, dynamism and the ever-changing power of movement.
We cordially invite you to another dance meeting with choreographer and dancer NATAŠA NOVOTNÁ, co-founder of the 420PEOPLE ensemble and founder of the Kylián Foundation Fund in Prague. Nataša is the only certified GAGA instructor in the Czech Republic!
"With Gaga, we intensify sensitivity to our own body. We discover more dimensions of movement until our muscles burn, and we can enjoy that too. We become aware of our explosive energy and occasionally use it. In space we are aware of others to discover that we are not the center of everything. We connect to a world of endless possibilities. We replace old ones with new habits. We can be alert and relaxed at the same time. We become present...
In Gaga, we connect to the feeling of "having enough time for everything", especially in moments when we are moving fast. We discover our passion to move in conjunction with the effort it takes. We learn to love our own sweat. We will discover two things, the animal that we are and the power of our own imagination.
Gaga will reveal physical weakness, encourage weak body parts, reveal hidden blocks and help us get rid of them. Gaga is a training of instinctive movement, it strengthens the connection between the conscious and the unconscious. It leads us to experience pure and uncomplicated freedom and pleasure. In a pleasant environment, in comfortable clothes, accompanied by music. Each for himself, in connection with others."

WHERE: 1CLUB, Václavská 6, Brno (you go through the parking lot with the barrier, straight ahead, past the payment machines on the left, the frame shop and at the end of the block, when you can't go any further, you enter the last door on the left, the 1CLUB halls are on the 2nd floor, the women's changing rooms can be found after on the left side in the corridor behind reception, for men a little further, our hall is orange and is at the very end of the corridor)
WHEN: Saturday 7 December from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (2 x 60 min with a 30 min break)
PRICE:
*🐥Early Bird - if you register and pay the deposit before 16 November, the price is 650 CZK
*from 17. 11. onwards 900 CZK

Neither dance experience nor participation in previous events is important, just the desire to come and move your body, different, new and with curiosity, what you will discover and experience. Bring comfortable clothes and refreshments for the break (we dance in socks, the hall has lino on the floor).
