About event
We are people who do traditional folk culture. Some today, others in the past, but it connects us that we perceive it as something that is important to us, something that forms part of our self -expression and fulfills us.
We are watching with great concern how, under the leadership of the Minister of Culture Martina Šimkovičová, the environment of the ministry, including the area we operate, has been gradually destroying since the entry into office.
The practices of the Ministry of Culture have resulted in conflicts, accusations and gross insults, caused delaying grants, dismissal and disregarding experts, questioning their work. We are also witnessing the nominations of incompetent persons into the management of coat of arms cultural institutions, whose professional readiness is clearly questionable. In front of our eyes, we see the politicization and destruction of the art promotion fund, which has co -created a favorable environment for the development of folklore and for the implementation of projects reflecting traditional folk culture. Therefore, we invite you: Join us!
