For a year and a quarter, we have been concerned with concern the situation of Slovak culture and the media: the rebranding of the public, the ejected and popular faces of the screens, and the threat of ending support for independent media is the most visible moments of trying to destroy critical discussion and culture in the Slovak media. We want to take a closer look at what the above and other steps of the Ministry of Culture of SR mean for cultural journalism and Slovak media in general.
We invited several prominent personalities to the discussion that will try to explain the current situation and outline the possibilities of further development and ask the question of possible support for mutual support: (Cultural unions, open-up cult, ex-capital), sociologist and media theoretician Marina Urbániková (Muni, FSV UK, Women in the media), sociologist Dominik Želinský (SAV). The discussion organizes the initiative by enthusiasm you do not pay in cooperation with the Syndicate of Journalists of the Czech Republic, moderated by Anežka Bartlová and Štěpán Šanda. He will take place at his press center in the property management building (Senovážné náměstí 23, Prague 1, 3, floor).
