About event
Dear citizens, we are preparing a new event that we organize in cooperation with Jehnická KDU-ČSL. As you know, we have a nativity scene in Jehnice since 2021, which was produced by citizens and which serves at Christmas as a nice place on the square and also takes place with Christmas themes. We decided to have a new nativity scene, which will be larger and will be more faithful to the characters that make up an integral part of the scene of the birth of Jesus Christ.
At the same time we want to take this event as a demonstration of professional work with wood. On Friday, September 26 (Times will be specified), woodcarvers will begin on the square, who with their chainsaws can turn a piece of trunk into a human or animal.
on Saturday 27th September will continue and everything should finish in the afternoon. After 4 pm, the Beránek Community preacher Michal Horák bless the finished statues.
Then there will be another novelty in the early evening (from about 5 pm): the first vintage vintage, which will be accompanied by dulcimer music Dolnica, visitors will be able to taste and buy wines and also learn about growing and producing wine from vineyards and wine cellars in South Moravia.
During Saturday, there will also be refreshment stalls on the square.
