About event
❄️ Cold Icelandic landscape, burning love. Don't miss the silent film from the workshop of the master Victor Sjöstrom, telling a tragic love story in an impressive snowy nature. And live accompaniment by experienced musicians Ian Mikyska and Miroslav Tóth!
🎞️ We are dedicating the May screening from the series Silent films with live music to a lesser-known but remarkable film from the golden era of Swedish silent cinema. The film Outlaws, in which we follow the fate of a man deported to Iceland, will amaze you with the natural scenery from the inhospitable Icelandic countryside.
🎵 Miroslav Tóth is a composer, sound designer and saxophonist born in Bratislava and currently working in Prague. Ian Mikyska is a composer and musician who often moves on the edges of sound - he creates installations, texts, videos, performances.
