Psychedelic Renaissance: Afterglow
The lecture will present modern aspects of psychedelics assisted psychotherapy and focus on the period of integration of psychedelic experience into common consciousness. This transition is referred to by the term afterglow and is related to the rage of neuronal network, increased vulnerability, creativity and therapeutic effect.
MUDr. Filip Tylš Ph.D. - is the clinical director and co -founder of the psychedelic clinic Psyon. Here, as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist, he focuses primarily on the psychedelics of assisted psychotherapy (PAP). He also works as a neuroscientist at the National Institute of Mental Health (NUDZ), where he devotes himself to research into psychedelics and as an assistant to the Clinic of Psychiatry at the 3rd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University. He graduated from the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University (2012) and followed up a doctoral study at the 3rd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University (2017), completed training in Gestalt Psychotherapy (IVGT Prague 2014 - 2020) and Education in California training for life with psychedelics at CIIS (2018) (2018) .
