The immense success of Psychonauts Pelagic's debut album "Unfold The God Man" (2018) proved that PSYCHONAUT are a force to be reckoned with.
The three gentlemen from Mechelen, Belgium have delivered a wild and highly anticipated concept album that proclaims the emergence of a new world through the adoption of a new human identity. With the release of their second album Violate Consensus Reality" (2022), the Belgian trio takes the listener on a visceral trip into the collective human consciousness. A journey marked by explosive riffs, soaring vocals and intricate yet catchy compositions. An impressive album that cements PSYCHONAUT's position as a contender for the throne of the contemporary European progressive/post-metal community. "We have always chosen "I'm interested in religion, spirituality and philosophy," explains singer/guitarist Stefan de Graef about PSYCHONAUT's music. “We have meditated together, had long discussions about the nature of life and we have a common vision.”
