11.05.2026 • Berlin • Columbia Theater
Admission: 7:00 p.m. • Start: 8:00 p.m.
After becoming known as the frontman of the Sex Pistols, John Lydon founded the post-punk pioneers PUBLIC IMAGE LTD (PiL). The band is widely regarded as one of the most innovative of all time; Their music and vision earned them 5 UK Top 20 singles and 5 UK Top 20 albums.
With a changing line-up and a unique sound, a mix of rock, dance, folk, pop and dub, Lydon led the band from debut album First Issue in 1978 to 1992's That What Is Not, before PiL took a 17-year hiatus
In 2009, Lydon reactivated PiL, touring extensively and releasing three critically acclaimed albums: This is PiL in 2012, followed by What The World Needs Now... in 2015 and End of World in 2023. PUBLIC IMAGE LTD remains a band that continues to challenge and thrive.
