About event
Public Service Broadcasting (UK)
Archive sample based electronic rock
Mainstage | Ticket: €17,-
Public Service Broadcasting has been teaching the lessons of the past with the music of the future for more than a decade. They sample old public information films and archive material and set them to new, contemporary music. These films are shown simultaneously during their live shows.
Their own sound, which is built around electronics and powerful guitar rock, was renewed with new influences and samples for the latest album, Bright Magic (2021). The album is less linear and narrative than previous releases and is an impressionistic portrait of Berlin. Public Service Broadcasting will go on tour again in 2024 and will perform in VERA on November 13.
