PUER NATUS EST NOBIS - A child is born to us
Festive vocal music of the Middle Ages for Advent and Christmas in the beautiful reed-roof chapel in Berlin-Kladow.
The vocal ensemble VOX NOSTRA has put together a melodious program for the concert in the reed-roof chapel in Kladow. Some of the Gregorian chants are over 1000 years old and have lost none of their magic.
In addition to monophonic classics such as the opening chant (Introitus) of the Christmas mass Puer natus est nobis (A child is born to us) and the Graduale and the Communio Viderunt omnes fines terrae (All see the ends of the earth), the Lectio Jube domine can be heard benedicere and the oldest three-part Christmas carol in the German language Sys willekomen heirre kerst also polyphonic compositions for the Christmas and Advent season.
Let yourself be carried away into the fascinating world of vocal music of the Middle Ages with its archaic sounds.
