About event

Three names of underground rap. The collectives THC Luna G and Gondor Flames will perform at the Akropolis Palace for the first time. Slovak rapper Edúv Syn will return with his solo show. Budding soundcloud rap clan THC Luna G christens their debut album obstacles nonstop.

No future, even if she could. On the stages of the Palace Akropolis Edúv Syn has already appeared several times - for example alongside people like Berlin Manson, Fvck_kvlt or OGMiaG. Now Matej Myslovič aka Edúv Syn returns with a full-fledged solo show as part of the Pulz series. Slovak musician and multimedia artist based in Prague is one of the emerging underground stars who mix rap with punk aesthetics. In his texts, Edúv Syn strictly opposes consumerism, homophobia and social aggression. This is evidenced by all his singles this year, as well as last year's album Projekt 2023, on which he gave space to interesting Slovak and Czech female rappers.

From Zajetí 8 být > the Gondor Flames team will head to Žižkov. The Prague rap group has been rocking the walls of underground clubs since 2017. At the forefront of the Gondor Flames label are the Polák brothers, musicians and Lord of the Rings fans – Martin a.k.a Kurt, Kryštof aka Poskok and David as Rashid Bok. Their lyrics are full of Prague realities, social activism and unexpected pop culture references. In the Akropolis Palace, the experimental trio will perform for the very first time. For example, fans can look forward to tracks from last year's EP so long, calypsó.

Starting soundcloud clan that raps. In the lyrics, THC Luna G embark on a blunt but honest critique of current politics and the related struggle for equality in the fields of ecology, sexuality and other weedy playgrounds of capitalism. Their flows are as diverse as the group itself, but if they agree on something, it is the desire to do "mischief and mess", which is also reflected in their experimental approach to different genres.

Behind the dramaturgy of the series Pulz's music columnist and Radio 1 presenter Vojtěch Tkáč stands in Akropolis Palace. The evening will take place in cooperation with the Akropolis Underground space, where the afterparty will take place.
